Hanson Triplets

So I am almost 30 years old and this was my first time trick-or-treating. We did not celebrate Halloween as children so we never dressed up or went door to door. Last year the kids were to little and were not walking yet. This year was the first year that they could do it. We had a blast! We started in our neighborhood for about 30 minutes and then went to my parents house. We ate some dinner and then continued gathering our candy. The kids were so cute saying, "Treat" because they couldn't say "Trick or Treat". Ethan just walked right up and grabbed the candy and put it in his bucket. Emma would find a certain piece she wanted and stop and get distracted. Evan did fine until we went to my parents house and he wanted to sit in the middle of the driveway and look at his treasures and we wouldn't let him. He decided to have a full blown melt down. He finally calmed down but was in a bad mood the rest of the night. We still had a great time. My brother and sister's families all came to join us. My cousin Stephanie also came and joined the crew. Everyone liked our Halloween outfits. I decided instead of buying $40 costumes for each I would buy something they could get some use out of. They have been wearing their skeleton pajamas for over a month now and I got my moneys worth out of them for sure. I got them at Gymboree and got a great discount on them. I was working one night and someone came in and returned an adult pair! The light bulb went on and I called Brent to see if he would wear them. He was a great sport and agreed instantly. So since you could only order online I went on and bought mine. We looked like quite the family marching around in our matching costumes.
